Since being licensed in 1997 to practice law in Ohio, Dirken D. Winkler (Dirk) has served as legal counsel in many capacities.  During law school Dirk served for three years as a law clerk with the Ohio Court of Claims.  Upon graduating law school, Dirk served as Compliance Counsel for Nationwide Insurance Corporation where he was the lead attorney on a variety of public retirement programs involving employers such as the State of Ohio and numerous school districts.  Thereafter,  Dirk served as Assistant Consumer' Counsel for the Ohio Consumer's Counsel where he was legal counsel on a number of complex energy and utility cases before the Ohio Public Utilities Commission and the Federal Communications Commission.  Ultimately, Dirk followed his passion of opening a law practice where he could provide personalized legal services to individuals facing difficult and complex family law matters.  Dirk's foremost obligation as a lawyer is to represent his clients zealously, within the bounds of the law.  However, Dirk also couples his legal services with a commitment to serve his clients with compassion and understanding.
