FCSO helps residents of Franklin County, Ohio, age 60 and older maintain their independence. It also supports family members with the often overwhelming task of caring for a frail older parent, family member, or friend with limited abilities.

Medicare– A federal system of health insurance for people over 65 years of age and for certain younger people with disabilities. For specific questions about your claims, medical records, or expenses, you can visit MyMedicare.gov.
Social Security– Monthly government payments to retired workers or their families who have paid Social Security taxes.
Senior Citizen Tax Exemption Program- A state-wide program which allows qualified senior citizens and permanently and totally disabled homeowners to reduce their property tax burden by shielding some of the market value of their home from taxation.

Disability Rights Ohio– An Ohio based organization dedicated to providing legal advocacy to individuals with a disability.
Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging– An Ohio non-profit providing services to seniors, those with disabilities and their families.
Ohio Department of Aging– A federal unit designated to help seniors and their communities within the state of Ohio.
AARP Ohio– An organization devoted to improving the lives for those 50 years +.
